Lifestream
I opened up my blog this morning and, “Hello!” There was my Lifestream post.
This past week I decided to install and set up the Lifestream plugin for WordPress. I have seen this with some of my regular blog reads, particularly The Shifted Librarian and Etc. The librarian in me loves the idea of cataloging all of my feeds from social networking sites into one place. Of course there are other sites that do this but I agree with The Shifted Librarian when she said that she liked having control of her own lifestream. This is my little corner of the web and I like having a record of my interactions on my home turf.
I realize that this is only going to be interesting to me so if you are bored by my lifestream just ignore. I’m posting feeds from my Photoblog (which I haven’t told you about yet) and my project page on Ravelry, as well as the regulars (Google Reader, Flickr, Goodreads, blah blah blah). I will not be adding my Twitter account to this (at least at the moment) and I haven’t been able to figure out how to add Facebook.
So anyway..Lifestream. Yay!
