Sunday’s hike

While visiting Eagle Fern Park on Sunday we learned of a nearby state park, McIver State Park. So we thought we would check it out on Sunday. It was really pretty. There was a beautiful disc-golf field that was well-kept. We found a hiking trail that wasn’t as well kept as the field (clearly the park fees are not going toward trail maintenance. ahem.). But, still it was a pretty hike, if not a little muddy from all of the rain we’ve been having. I’m not sure I will go back to this park again. It was fun to visit but it didn’t really do much for me beyond that. At least we checked it out though.

That photo is amazing! The tree looks like it’s flocked and the colors are so rich! Wow!
